The Wagner Student Association (WSA) is the student government and council of New York University's Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service.
Mission
The Wagner Student Association (WSA) is the student government and council of New York University’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. The mission of the WSA is to promote leadership and professional development and to foster an inclusive and diverse community through public service for the Wagner student body. In order to achieve this mission, the WSA performs the following activities:

Establishes channels of communication within the student body including:

The Wagner Digest emails; and

Monthly General Student Body Meetings.

Advocates for students by acting as liaison between the student body and the faculty, school administration, and university,

Regulates the management and funding of student groups.

Conducts events and oversees WSA committees (i.e. Wagner Gala, Wagner Happy Hours, Wagner Cares, University Games)
Community Forums & Office Hours
WSA Community Forums are held monthly as a way for students and student groups to come together to promote a sense of community. At these meetings, WSA will also provide updates on the Board's efforts and activities, and will receive student feedback.
WSA Executive Board members are available for students and student group representatives to ask questions and provide input on WSA initiatives in a private manner. Please see the WSA Executive Board for email contact information and to set up a time to meet with any leadership member.
Apply to Become a First-Year Representative!
First-Year Representatives play an important role on the WSA Executive Board by advocating for the needs of first-year students and bringing their perspective to school-wide conversations. Reps also choose an area of interest to support WSA projects, and may represent Wagner at university-wide student government meetings. The role is open to all first-year students and requires about 2–4 hours per week.
